Ship laptop from US to France?
Hi, I am selling a used laptop on eBay in US and i had a buyer who bought the same over eBay. He is currently in France and wants me to ship it there. I checked the shipping rates and USPS is offering around $50 to ship the item from US to France I want to know if there would be any additional custom/import duty/fees for the buyer to receive the laptop in France ? Will there be much hassles for the buyer to collect the laptop in France ? I will ship it ONLY when i receive the confirmed payment and its through Paypal, so i am safe in that. Please advise if you have had a similar experience

eBay now requires you to list IN your description that Customs Fees are the responsibility of the buyer. Write the buyer, and explain this to him. It is not your problem, it is his, and he should know this. Be sure to get insurance on the shipment.
