Answer 1 :
If you where to buy a French Laptop you could change the language of the operating system once it starts up. Or you could buy Windows 7 and install it over the french OS and change the keyboard config to French (if it dosent auto detect it.)

Answer 1 :
don't need an adaptor, most laptops have 110-250v range , all you need is the right plug - see link below -- you can buy universal plugs for all countries at target or online http://www.amazon.com/s/ref=nb_sb_ss_c_1_10?url=search-alias%3Delectronics&field-keywords=power+plug&sprefix=power+plug#/ref=nb_sb_noss?url=search-alias%3Delectronics&field-keywords=universal+power+plug&rh=n%3A172282%2Ck%3Auniversal+power+plug
Answer 2 :
basically, most international hotels have known about this problem. so they might rent you appropriate adapters you need.
Answer 3 :
Modern laptops can run on both the US 110-120 V and the European 220-240 V. You can check this on the back of the computer or on the power plug. What you need is an plug adapter so that your US prongs can go in the three square holes of the wall sockets in London and the two round holes of the wall sockets in France. http://www.adaptelec.com/images/plugs_outlets/wa7-socketfit.jpg Instead of buying two adapters you can buy universal adapters which have all the necessary plugs to travel all around the world. They usually look like this http://www.asia.ru/upload_images/100/99097/1810632.2+jpg
Answer 4 :
Just take me with you and it won't be a problem!!

Answer 1 :
I would think so!! The computer already has the russian language in it!! Try and see.....Let us know!!
Answer 2 :
most likely.
Answer 3 :
Sure, unless the laptop was made in CHINA.
Answer 4 :
It depends. If you have Russian made DVDs, which are chip and of course fake, most likely they are not playable on legally programmed computers. But you can buy also a good DVDs in Moscow. They are more expensive , then fake, but they really have very good choice there, unfortunately only in Russian.
Answer 5 :
Good question. Once you pop in that Russian DVD, your computer will ask you if you want it to play it. If you say "yes" then it will play the DVD. However, it wont play other "regions" DVD. It switches your "region." I think you can switch it up to 4 times. As long as you're planning to stick with Russian DVD's then you won't have a problem. Of course, that only applies to non-bootleg DVD's. If you're planning to play bootlegs, and this is for the sake of answering your question, then it'll play it without having to switch your region. Now, as for the subtitles, get on google and search for Russian subtitles for the film you want to watch. You should be able to download a text version of that file. Once you do, download a program called Video LAN. That program will play your DVD and if you tell it where to find the file, it will display the subtitles as well. Good luck.
