Answer 1 :
Buy 'Le Power Adapter' and call your ISP about remote access. I'm sure they have a local number for you to access from France.
Answer 2 :
France has special rules when bringing a laptop into the country. There are many software product forbibben.
Answer 3 :
There are no problems bringing a lap top into France. I cross the Atlantic several times each year. Check with your internet service provider. They might have access numbers in France to get a dialup connection. If they don't, you might consider signing on with AOL or compuserve for a month because they have access points everywhere.

What do I need to plug my laptop into a power outlet in France?

What do I need to plug my laptop into a power outlet in France?
I just got an international converter set but I'm afraid it won't be of help because it says not to use it with appliances that use more than 25 W. Are there converters for computers? Thanks. My converter set has five different adapters (for Europe, Middle East, Africa, Asia...) and a converter. Can I just use the adapter without the converter? It really says "DO NOT USE converter for computers, televisions, fax machines, power tools or electronic controlled appliances exceeding 25 watts." It doesn't say anything about not using the adapters.

Answer 1 :
Does France even possess electricity?
Answer 2 :
Find a power converter in store.
Answer 3 :
You should be able to use the adaptor with your plug in and it should work just fine. Europeans are weird with their power plugs(or we are). Either way, your adaptor should work just fine.
Answer 4 :
i think u will need to buy a ac adapter from the laptop manufacturer
Answer 5 :
Check your owners manual. Most laptops will work on 110v or 220v. I know when I was in Germany all I had to do was get a plug adaptor. They should be really cheap. Edit: You should not need a power converter.

Answer 1 :
i think you can order nfl games from nfl.com and college games from espn.com. but you will have to pay for both of them. you can watch highlights for free on espn.com and on youtube.
Answer 2 :
leave France, they suck anyway!
Answer 3 :
try nflnetwork.com
Answer 4 :
www.youtube.com
Answer 5 :
Try this link... http://www.freefootballradio.com/ I know it says radio, but many times after the game actually starts they add TV links. I have watched games before that I wanted to see not playing in my area.
Answer 6 :
go to a sporting goods store. purchase an american football. place football on laptop. look at laptop. voila
Answer 7 :
If you're in France, then you should just give up on trying; it's the national pasttime there.

Is there a customs/import fee to send a laptop computer to Paris, France?

Is there a customs/import fee to send a laptop computer to Paris, France?
My niece is studying aboard in Paris for a year. She brought a laptop but it seems to be failing. Her dad wants to send her a new laptop but will the French expect some kind of import fee to be paid? We have figured out it will cost over $100 just to mail it, it will be tough to have to pay a heavy custom/duty fee on top of this.

Answer 1 :
European Union duty (15 %) and import sales tax (19%) will apply. They will be calculated on the basis of the total value including shipment fees. A better idea would be buying the laptop within France, they sell computers too you know and on request even with software in English. You may also contact a large US direct sales pc company at their French subsidiary by typing .fr instead of .com
