two broadband connections on one laptop?
I have BTHOMEHUB on my laptop all works fine. I have to spend 6 weeks in France every few months. Can I install aa French broadband product on the same laptop and simply switch from one to another depending on the country ? or do I need to uninstall/reinstall each time

What Internet options are there in France...?
What Internet options are there in France...?
My friend lives in France but doesn't have a landline only a mobile phone (Orange i think). How does he go about getting the Internet?. What providers are there?. How much per month for basic usage?. Is it possible to get the stick so that he can use his laptop anywhere and how much?. Any help is much appreciated, thank you

If he doesn't have a landline but have phone wall plugs, he can ask for an ISP to build him his line. It might get him 2-3 months to get the internet. After that, he'll be having the maximum speed available in his area (this can go from dial-up to 100 Mbps) and, most of the time, this costs 29,99รข‚¬/month for an unlimited usage. With that, he has the modem that is free to rent and he can call any landline in many destinations for free. Depending on his location, he can have ADSL TV. Computer service geek needed at home in france?
My mother lives in south of France alone, and needs to be set up on the internet, I need a computer laptop with connection to the internet for her. She knows how to do nothing regarding this. So I need information where to find a geek near mirambeau france, and where to buy computer and ship to her.

If you're looking for someone to help your mother out, the last thing I'd do is to call someone a "geek". You should learn to be more polite when asking for assistance.

If she's never been on the internet before, there are many dangers to which she'll need to be educated.
