Will Air France adjust my flight listing at the airport if I can't get on my flight or do I have to do it?
I am flying Nonrev (standby) on Air France next week and I do not have a laptop. Will the gate agent adjust my listing to the next flight for me if I do not get on my flight due to space not being available or do I HAVE to do it over their flight listing website? I do not have a laptop, that is why I am asking.

Answer 1 :
You will have to be at the airport staying in contact with the gate agents for status. When I fly I see the people get there as soon as they can, there can be others attempting standby too. Then Ive notice the gate attendants keep track with those passengers verbally about thier status. Even if you had a laptop, you would still need to be at the airport, you need to inform them of your intents.
Answer 2 :
They'll take care of it, if you ask them to politely. It's a simple transaction to cancel a flight segment in an existing reservation and replace it with a new one. I can do it in 6 seconds with just two computer entries!

How do I make the most of my stay in France as an exchange student?
How do I make the most of my stay in France as an exchange student?
I am 16 years old, and currently living in France for 6 months with a host family. I go to art class once a week, go jogging, and hang out with friends, but I still find myself with a lot of free time at the house. Often everyone in the house is working or occupied so I just end up on my laptop doing unproductive things. I feel like I'm wasting a good opportunity. How should I spend my time? What should I be doing? Thanks!! :]

Answer 1 :
Get out and meet the local and practice your French.
Answer 2 :
What do you like? Do you like museums? Architecture? Food? Spas? Nature scenery? Medieval towns? Theater? Classical music? Rock music? France has all of this. You should go to a coffee shop and have a drink. Also do you like chocolate hazelnut cream cake? It is called Gateau Noisette. I also recommend Opera Torte and Rhubarb Apple torte. Please go to a French pastry shop! :)

What type of power outlets are used in Greece, France & Italy?

Answer 1 :
Buy a universal travel adaptor pack. Must of Europe uses round 2 and 3 plug outlets.
Answer 2 :
All use the standard "Europlug" two pin arrangement, which all your devices should be able to use the same sort of adapter for. They differ in grounding though, if you need that. A good bit of Europe uses the Shucko style, which has a contact ground on the top and bottom of the receptacle. France and Belguim have a male earthing prong on their receptacle. Itally just uses an extra hole between the two power prongs. You should make sure your equipment is 230V capable though. If not, you need a converter transformer.
Answer 3 :
The ones below are for Italy which are the same in Greece and France I believe.
