I'm going to France and I plan on bringing my laptop and a camera as well. What kind of travel adapter converter do I need?

France has 220v power. twice the 110v we have here, and the plugs have two round pins. Most modern electronic equipment works on both 110 and 220, but check the label to make sure it says 110-220v or 110-240v. (If you plug something that only works on 110v into a 220v outlet, the results can be very exciting.) Plug adapters are available online, like the link below at Amazon, and also in places where they sell travel goods, like stores that sell suitcases or maps. They're quite cheap, under $5 each. There are also fancier three prong adapters, but unless your appliances have three-prong plugs, you don't need them.
