can i carry laptop in air france?
i am tavelling in feb to india. can i carry my laptop with me with hand baggage. i have heard security has become tight due to recent incidents especially dec 25th one....

Hi, Have travelled millions of miles by air since 2000 including many times by Air France, laptops in hand luggage have never been a problem, you have to take it out and put it in seperate plastic tub before it goes through Xray, thats alll. Hope it helps.

Nothing changed Dec 25th when it comes to carrying a laptop into the cabin. Same rules as before. Flights to the US have a more strict security check with a second pat down before boarding. Nothing that will affect a flight from the US to Europe, or flights from Europe to any destination (except the US).
